Can’t have a rock record without killer guitars, bass, and drums! I chronicle my experience writing music for and tracking with the most talented (and nicest!) group of musicians I’ve ever assembled. 🤘🏼🐻

I wrote “Escape from the Machines” when I was 16yo, listening to shredding guitarists like @Slash and @joesatriani. I can’t explain how surreal it is that 3 decades later BOTH of them are playing the song on #TheSingularity.

The beating heart of #TheSingularity is “The Atomic Clock” himself, @therealgenehoglan. I wrote these parts with his feet and hands in mind. He has to be heard to be believed.

My rock record also features guitars from legends such as Blue Öyster Cult’s @buck_dharma_official, Metalocalypse’s @brendonsmall, Soundgarden’s Kim Thayil, Anthrax’s @scottianthrax, the next-level @guthrie.govan, & more

Most bass parts on #TheSingularity are held down by the incredible @bryanbellerbass, and several songs feature the iconic slap insanity of @johnnybassman from Oingo Boingo.

Even the rhythm guitarists are incredible. @obz_kenobi, one of my composer protégés, not only plays rhythm, but some intense solos. I was also honored to work with metal goddess @laurachristinemusic, and the legend himself, @mikekeneally.
